All programs are held in the MTPA Community Room (lower level of the building)

unless otherwise noted.

Visitors can schedule a visit at their convenience by contacting Curator Peggy Smith, 815-257-0707; call her on the first Monday of the month at the museum from 10:00 A.M. - Noon.

CDC Guidelines for Illinois will be followed at all programs and events.

There will be a Military Exhibit throughout the month of May to honor those who are or who have served our country.

                                                    History of McNabb Grain

 

Magnolia Township Preservation Association is hosting Bart Ericson to share the history of McNabb Grain on Sunday, June 11, 2023.  Bart is the General Manager of McNabb grain, serving in that position since 2010.  McNabb Grain was organized March 22, 1913, as a farmers co-op.  McNabb grain has served our local agricultural community for 110 years.

The presentation will be held at the Magnolia Township Preservation Association Museum, 110 N Peoria St., Magnolia, IL. The museum will open at 1 pm with the program starting at 2 pm.

The mission of the Magnolia Township Preservation Association (MTPA) is to research, collect, preserve, promote, and communicate the history of Magnolia Township to educate future generations.

Join us Sunday, June 11 for this presentation on our local agriculture history.
